Nvidia held serious takeover talks with Hugging Face at over $13B, Business Insider reported. The Information separately says a $12.9B deal has been agreed.
Hugging Face develops AI software and provides hosting. For Nvidia, it would add software and distribution atop chips, networking and data centres.
It follows Nvidia’s $6B Poolside licensing-and-talent deal and reported ~$20B purchase of most of Groq. Nvidia is no longer just supplying the AI stack—it is buying deeper into it.
